# Geoapify

## Settings that need to be configured

* Ensure you already have a Geoapify account.
* [Make sure you have set the shipping rates by distance](/tutorials/en/settings/shipping.md#setting-up-distance-based-rates)
* [Ensure your store location information has been set up correctly.](/tutorials/en/settings/locations.md)
* Get the API key from your Geoapify account.
* Do the setting in the Shoppego dashboard

## Settings on Geoapify

If you do not yet have a Geoapify account, you can sign up at this link:<https://myprojects.geoapify.com/register>

1. Log in to your Geoapify account

2. Click on the **Create a new project/Add a new project** button

3. **Enter your project details** to serve as a future reference.

4. You can **copy the provided API key**.

## Settings on Shoppego

1. Log in to your Shoppego account

2. Click on **Settings**.

3. Click on **Geolocation providers**

4. Click **Activate/Edit on Geoapify**

5. **Enter the API key you just copied from your Geoapify account** and click **Save**.
